Jo Miller

Jo Miller was appointed Chief Executive of Hutt City Council on 1 July 2019. Prior to this, Jo had a career spanning over 30 years working in local and regional government organisations and has experience working locally, regionally and nationally in the UK, in the public, private and voluntary sectors including her previous role as the Chief Executive at Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council, UK, from 2012.

Since being appointed Jo has taken on a number of governance positions including Vice President of Taituarā - Local Government Professionals Aotearoa, Directorships on the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce and Civic Financial Services Ltd, and membership of the Regional Leadership Group of the Wellington Region Emergency Management Office (WREMO).
