Carparking
On-street parking in Hastings CBD is pay and display during business hours, and free after hours.
There are pay and display parking areas on the corner of Heretaunga and Hastings Streets East, on Queen Street East, and opposite Opera Lane, in the Baker Tilly Staples Rodway carpark.
If you need accessible carparks, there are two on Eastbourne Street and one on Heretaunga St East (near the corner of Warren St), which are free of charge. The Eastbourne St parks are closest to Functions on Hastings, Cushing Foyer and the Opera House, while the Heretaunga St park is closest to the Municipal Building venues (Tama Tūranga Huata, Te Mata, Shakespeare, and Assembly Ballroom).
