Join us for a two-day tour of the beautiful Taranaki region, showcasing a powerful mix of civic investment, cultural storytelling, community partnerships, and destination projects across New Plymouth and South Taranaki.
The tour is designed to give delegates an early look at the places, partnerships, and ideas helping shape Taranaki’s future - from public spaces and active recreation to arts, heritage, environmental restoration, and community-led development.
Our itinerary features major stops including the Tūparikino Hub, Destination Kāwaroa, Stadium Taranaki, city-centre revitalisation projects, Te Pae o te Rangi, New Plymouth Airport, Te Ramanui o Ruapūtahanga, Rotokare Scenic Reserve, and the Eltham town revitalisation project.
The programme will also include a pōwhiri - a formal welcome to bring us together and acknowledge the deep significance of the places, hosts, and visitors.
